THINGS TO DO
Southern Utah is well known for its greatest natural resource....it's beauty. There are more National Parks and Monuments here in Southern Utah than anywhere else in the United States. It is an outdoor lovers paradise. Whether are the type that likes to climb sandstone cliffs and risk life and limb or the type that would rather enjoy the beauty from the comfort of your condo while sipping a latte, then you aren't going to be disappointed.
No matter what time of year you visit you are guaranteed to fall in love with our backyard. Take a quick run down to Zion National Park and enjoy the Great White Throne. While you are down in Utah's Dixie don't forget to watch world class theater at Tuacahn after you have visited the adjoining Snows Canyon State Park. Maybe while you are in Cedar City you can catch A Midsummer's Night Dream at the Tony award winning Shakespearean Festival.
If you are here during the summer solstice you don't want to miss the famous Parowan Gap gathering. It is an event which celebrates the Fremont Indians culture in which the Fremont would mark the longest day of the year as the sun sets as it passed in front of their God Topaz.
Maybe you would like to try your hand at a little water skiing at Lake Powell, or catch the sights over at the Grand Canyon. Maybe you are a bit of a paleontologist? Well we've got Dinosaurs just a few hours to the north if you want a bit more than the Johnson Farm in St. George.
